Location: The site is located on Hajira-Kotli Road, at a distance of 40 KM from Rawalakot City. The site is located in Tehsil Hajira, District Poonch, AJ&K Elevation: The site is at an elevation of 813 m above mean sea level Features: The site offers opportunities for historical conservation along with preservation of the natural environment. This archeological site is surrounded by farm lands on all four sides. The Poonch River flows hardly few hundred feet away from the site. Weather is hot in summer and cold in winter. Available area for development is around 4 kanals. Available Facilities: These old remains are located just east of Hajira – Kotli road short of Tatta Pani to-wards north. Water is abundantly available as the site lies next to Poonch River. |
